Arts teaching at Highgate School aims to develop students’ creativity, critical thinking and aesthetic knowledge across the five Arts disciplines. Learning is centred on the belief that all students have creative and expressive potential. Students focus on the process of creating their own Art works while also exploring and reflecting on the work of others.
Through engaging with The Arts students gain the skills and knowledge to imagine, observe, express and communicate ideas in considered and meaningful ways.
